The 20th Annual General Body Meeting was held on 29th April 2026 at IFTTC Auditorium, CSIR-CFTRI. The registration of members started at 10:30 AM with biscuits and a cup of tea. The pocket dairy compiled and published by CPWA Mysuru Centre was also distributed to its members.

The meeting started at 11 AM and Dr. NG Malleshi, President of CPWA addressed the gathering and requested all the members, guests and spouse to stand in silence for a minute to offer condolences to departed souls.

The members & their spouse, our former Directors Dr. V Prakash and Dr. Sridevi Annapurna Singh and guests were greeted by Dr. NG Malleshi.

Dr. UJS Prasada Rao, Secretary CPWA Mysuru Centre presented the minutes of the 19th AGBM and the activities held during the period 2025-2026.

Mr. S Umesh, Treasurer CPWA Mysuru Centre presented the audited statement of accounts for the financial year 2025-2026. 

The Nonagenarians and Octogenarians were felicitated by the President, Vice President and Secretary of CPWA Mysuru Centre with a bouquet of flowers, shawl,  citation and dry fruit box. The felicitators shared their experience they gained during their service at CSIR-CFTRI.

Dr. Bhagya Swamy Lingappa on behalf of ladies wing honored Smt. Sreemathi Hariprasad (Nonagenarian) and Dr. E Rathi Rao (Nonagenarian) with a shawl and plant.

Dr. L Jagan Mohan Rao, Vice President of CPWA Mysuru Centre proposed vote of thanks and the event was concluded by singing National Anthem.

Members were served with delicious lunch.

Dr.M K Bhashyam, Octogenarian could not attend the felicitation function on AGBM day and he was felicitated at his residence on 6th July by Er. S N Krishna Rao
